About Me
Education, Creativity, and Organization — All in One Place
I’ve always been drawn to the world of education, creativity, and organization — even before I realized there was a career that combined all three.
Where I Started
My background started in traditional education settings: teaching preschool, homeschooling my child, and giving private music lessons after earning my degree in Music Education. Helping people learn, grow, and gain confidence has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
What I Discovered
Over time, I discovered that I loved the behind-the-scenes side of education just as much as teaching itself — organizing content, designing learning experiences, improving workflows, troubleshooting technology, and creating systems that make things run more smoothly.
Finding My Fit in Instructional Design
That realization led me into LMS support, online course development, and education technology, where I found the perfect blend of creativity, problem-solving, and organization. I genuinely enjoy taking scattered ideas and turning them into something clear, functional, and engaging.
A Little More Personality
Outside of work, my personality is probably best described as organized chaos. I love to-do lists, efficient workflows, and color-coded systems, but I also love sarcasm, early-2000s alternative rock, and creative hobbies that occasionally turn into Pinterest fails.
Adaptability, Adventure, and RV Life
During the pandemic, my family sold most of our belongings, bought a travel trailer, and spent a year traveling the country together — an experience that taught me adaptability, flexibility, and how little you actually need to feel at home.
Whether I’m designing learning experiences, organizing digital content, supporting projects behind the scenes, or researching solutions to a tricky problem, I love work that combines creativity, structure, and helping people succeed.
